Available in a range of sizes & made to exacting standards for a superior quality, these boards from Winsor & Newton feature 100% cotton canvas, triple-primed & hand-stretched over a rigid, sturdy 4mm thick board. Primed with a base layer of acid-free sizing, followed by 2 layers of highly-pigmented primer, creating a delicate balance of absorbency & tooth that prevents the sinking of oil colours & improves overall adhesion. Suitable for use with numerous mediums including traditional oil colours, water-mixable oils & acrylic, with their medium-grain surface ideal for a broad range of applications, including heavier usage.
