Naturally water-soluble, these soft charcoal blocks have a high concentration of formula (equivalent to 8 pencils) for bold, agile marks, smooth smudging & seamless blending. Each XL block has been ergonomically designed & measures 60 x 20 x 20mm to fit comfortably in the hand during use. This allows for a full range of movement in order to utilise both their flat edges & sharp corners for largescale applications & finer details in your work. Manipulate their texture using a small amount of water, break them down to smaller pieces or grate them to a fine powder for a myriad of interesting effects.
