Deco Gilding Flakes

Available in several metallic colours, these deco flakes from Pebeo can be applied to almost any surface for a series of effects. Best used with a water-based adhesive, such as their very own Gilding Paste , you're able to easily create a unique, aged or crackled vintage style with a shimmering finish in your illustrations, on frames, decorations & more! Alternatively, using Gilding Leaves would produce a similar finish, but with a smoother application thanks to their larger sheets. These are available in both a vibrant gold & a shimmering silver tone. Instructions Make sure the surface you're working with is clean & dry. Apply the Gilding Paste, using a soft, synthetic brush. Leave to dry for around 15 minutes, or until it feels "tacky". Brushing delicately with your soft brush, carefully lay the flakes over the prepared area. Be sure to use a varnish to protect your finished piece, whatever that may be.
