Whilst traditional solvents like white spirit or turpentine leave behind a residue after evaporating, Gamsol disappears evenly & completely, with no harmful vapours (making it popular amongst art classes and tutorials). *Gamsol is 100% pure odourless mineral spirits (OMS), meaning that all harmful aromatic solvents have been removed, cutting down your exposure to vapours whilst working. During a 3 hour paint session for instance, around 90% of a standard turpentine will have evaporated into the surrounding air, whilst in the same time, only 20% of Gamsol will have done so.
