Akashi White Oak Japanese Whisky 50cl

This is the flagship bottling from Akashi, made at the White Oak Distillery in the Kansei region of Japan. It’s a blend of malt and grain whiskies that have been matured in ex-bourbon barrels and Japanese oak. There are lots of fruity and spicy notes, as well as subtle hints of honey and nuts. The high proportion of grain (around 70%) gives this a velvety mouthfeel.
