A peated and cask strength bottling from the popular Indian distillers. This is made using peated barley from Scotland, resulting in phenol levels of 23ppm. It’s been aged in American oak and has an earthy and fruity profile, with flavours of bonfire smoke, bananas and butterscotch. Bottled at a staggering 62.8%, the Amrut Peated Cask Strength is bold yet still approachable, with a dash of water opening up the character even more.
