Filey Bay Peated Batch 3 English Single Malt Whisky 70cl

Filey Bay Distillery is a whisky distillery located in the town of Filey, situated on the North Yorkshire coast of England. It is known for producing single malt whisky using traditional distillation methods and locally sourced ingredients. The barley is even grown just a mile or so from the distillery. This batch 3 release was primarily matured in first-fill bourbon casks laid down in the winter of 2018 before a secondary maturation in peated casks. This gives the whisky a subtly smokiness which isn't too overpowering and still retains that coastal character with a hint of citrus.
