Glasgow 1770 is the flagship single malt from The Glasgow Distillery, the city's first independent single malt distillery in over a century. Reviving Glasgow’s proud whisky-making heritage, the distillery takes its name from the year the original Glasgow Distillery Company was founded. This five year old release marks the brand’s first exploration into Greek Syrah red wine cask finishing, offering a rare and expressive whisky experience. Initially matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks, this exceptional dram has been finished for one year and ten months in Greek Syrah wine barriques. The result is a vibrant, fruit-forward profile enriched by layers of complexity and character. Bottled at 59.3%, this limited release is one of 652 bottles presented all natural colour and unchillfiltered.
