Kingsbarns Balcomie Sherry Cask Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 70cl

Balcomie is a sherried release from the Kingsbarns distillery in Fife. Distilled using locally grown barley and aged in a combination of American oak barrels that previously contained Oloroso sherry, this is a spicier variant on what is otherwise a soft Lowland whisky. There’s plenty of cinnamon and syrup in this one, as well as notes of tropical fruit, chocolate and nuts. Top drawer stuff from Kingsbarns.
