2025 sees the inaugural release of Bomberger’s PFG (Precision Fine Grain), a Kentucky Straight Bourbon defined by meticulous craftsmanship and uncompromising precision at every stage of its creation. The journey begins with maturation in new, toasted and charred American oak barrels. Once the whiskey has reached optimal maturity, it is transferred to bespoke French oak casks. These secondary barrels are coopered from a proprietary blend of fine-grain oak sourced from the distinguished forests of Tronçais, Allier, Nevers, and Vosges. Each stave is air-seasoned for a minimum of 40 months along the banks of the Charente River—where ambient humidity, native microflora, and elevation imbue the wood with complex, terroir-driven character. The result is a whiskey of remarkable structure and elegance. It pours a rich mahogany red, with aromas of scorched sugar, warm spice, and dark chocolate, lifted by floral undertones.
