A landmark in the Midleton legacy, the 2025 Vintage Release sees Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman and his team elevate the art of Irish whiskey to unprecedented heights. For the first time in the series’ esteemed history, six distinct distillate styles converge; a masterstroke tribute to the generations of craftspeople who have defined Midleton’s enduring excellence. As always, the whiskey has been drawn from the hallowed A2 Warehouse, where casks have slumbered in silence beneath stone walls since the 1860s. But this edition ventures further. In a bold and innovative move, O’Gorman selected not one but three styles of grain whiskey—among them, a 22-year-old distilled from a barley and malted barley mash bill, and an exceptionally rare 21-year-old grain. Matured exclusively in refill American whiskey casks, these components reveal an elegant sweetness, rich in butterscotch and delicate vanilla nuance.
