Penderyn Peated Welsh Single Malt Whisky 70cl

Although not known for their smokey expressions, Penderyn annually releases 5,000 bottles of this delicious peated edition. Interestingly, the peat flavour comes from the use of Islay casks, after spending an initial period in ex-bourbon barrels. This is light in both colour and character, carrying gentle notes of vanilla, apple and subtle smoke. The Welsh distillers have bottled this at 46% ABV.
