Aged in ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks, the Penderyn Sherrywood is a diversion away from the Maderia-driven style that we usually get from the Welsh distillery. This release is part of their ‘Gold Range’ and the influence of the sherry casks has added notes of dark fruits and winter berries, as well as a good hit of spice, to that creamy finish that is unmistakably Penderyn.
