Starward Nova Red Wine Cask Australian Single Malt Whisky 70cl

This Australian single malt, from the increasingly popular Starward distillery in Melbourne, has been matured exclusively in red wine barrels that previously held Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. Unusually bottled at 41%, Starward takes advantage of the unique Oceanic climate to speed up maturation and achieve that natural deep red colouring. This is a thick and decadent dram, with sumptuous notes of dark fruits, caramel and spice.
