Stillwater Whisky Co. North of Scotland 47 Year Old 1972 Single Grain Whisky

Stillwater Whisky Co. is a brand new independent bottler launching in 2020. They describe themselves as 'curators of exceptional whiskies from across the globe' and we can see why; the two first release due with us soon look very tasty indeed. This release from the silent distillery ‘North of Scotland’ (which was thought to be one of the most flavoursome grain whiskies available) has been left to mature for a whopping 47 years in a single cask, bottled at a natural cask strength of 41.1% ABV and non-chill filtered and naturally coloured of course. We do love a good old grain here, and were told this release is jam-packed with buttery toast, praline and crème brûlée. Only 387 bottles will be available.
