This expression of Tullibardine gets its name after spending the final year of maturation in 228 litre burgundy casks. A deliciously spicy Highland single malt, this has been initially aged in first-fill bourbon barrels, before being finished in pinot noir barriques from Chateau de Chassagne Montrachet. The burgundy finish has given this whisky a deep natural colour with delicious notes of dark fruit, vanilla and sweet spice. The Tullibardine 228 is part of the distillery’s Signature Range and is perfect neat or in cocktails.
