A sort for lightweight Ash body is finished in an awesome Teal Green Metallic with flash coat lacquer, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes. The quarter sawn Maple neck has a smooth, vintage feel. With a 7.25”- 9.50" radius and 21 6105 frets, the Tomatillo Telecaster features a ‘57 style soft V profile which measures out at .940" at the 1st fret and .970" at the 12th; it feels comfortable and robust, just like a vintage Fender should. With the Telecaster design considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar, the Custom Shop Tomatillo Telecaster needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele' twang. Loaded with a pair of hand wound Tomatillo pickups it certainly delivers.
