The Lake Reaper Brushless Bait Boat is the next evolution of a proven design that has been trusted by anglers for over 10 years. Built on the same simple, robust, and easy-to-maintain hull that made the original so popular, this new version focuses on meaningful upgrades where they matter most — performance, reliability, and modern electronics. At the heart of the upgrade is a new brushless motor system, replacing the long-running brushed setup used on the previous model. This delivers smoother running, improved efficiency, reduced wear, and greater long-term reliability. Power is transferred through an upgraded 3-blade propeller, providing better thrust, control, and efficiency on the water. The electrical system has also been modernised. The boat now runs on 7.4V 8000mAh lithium-ion batteries, a significant upgrade from the older 6V 4.5Ah lead-acid batteries. This results in improved runtime, lighter overall weight, and more consistent performance throughout each session. A flush-mounted illuminated power switch completes the upgrade, offering a clean finish and clear visual confirmation when the boat is switched on. Upgraded handset now fitted with a LCD screen, with telemetry feature so you can see the battery level of your boat from the handset! Fitted with a 2.4GHz radio set, this is a digital frequency which cuts out any possibility of interfering with other bait boats. It also provides a range of 300+ meters which is more than enough on most lakes. The single handed control radio is handy when your controlling the boat with your rod in your other hand. This radio also has a ‘cruise control’ feature which allows you to hold the speed of your bait boat by pressing a button. You can then keep this same speed until pressing the button again to cancel this mode. This can come in handy if your sending the boat out long distance. The handset has a sound alarm for low voltage to avoid loosing control with the boat in the water. The handset is fitted with a rechargeable battery and also comes with a arm strap.
