The Hydra50 system is a complete brushless system comprising of a speed controller and motor. It is designed specifically for use in scale RC boats. The controller and motor have been optimised to give the best possible performance in both forwards and reverse when used together. The G2 controllers are primarily designed to make using brushless technology easy and fun! This system takes 'easy' one step further! The Hydra50 brushless controller has complete auto software installed, meaning that you don't even need to set it up! The controller has auto calibration and auto battery type detection straight out of the box. The fine slow speed control and acceleration are all pre-programmed to suit the included motor, taking all the complication out of the job. The controller comes with a 600 size sensorless MX1S600, 1400kv motor. The brushless motor is rated at 1400kv, this equates to 1400revs/volt, so if you were running with a 12V battery, your expected shaft RPM, off load, would be around 17000, this would probably drop to around 15000 under load (in the water). The motor is built with an anodised heat efficient casing, precision ballraces, high temp magnets, gold plated motor wire connections and a 5.0mm shaft. The 50A rating of the system would allow using a prop of around 45.0-50.0mm diameter. Add all the above to the legendary 100% waterproof design of the speed controller and you get a brushless speed controller system suitable for use in any weather that is suitable for any level of hobbyist, from beginner to expert.
