The collar is what we refer to as what you would find on a standard pump with 1.5" union connections. This union is interchangeable with Waterway etc. to give you an idea. Used with Hydroair Pumps mainly but can interchange with other brands. Additional notes: Best to use a plumbing cleaner then pipe cement to assemble.
