PLANED GREEN OAK SLEEPERS 2400mm x 190mm x 90mm NB: *GREEN OAK SLEEPERS MAY HAVE WANEY EDGES* Green oak is fresh sawn oak, which means it has been cut, and not seasoned. It will have a lot higher moisture content than kiln dried or air dried oak. Green oak will start to dry out soon after it has been sawn, it will shrink, and the appearance of the oak will change, with cracks and splits occurring. Green oak sleepers can be used for landscaping. Please be aware that fresh sawn oak is liable to move as it dries out, so may not be suitable for some applications.
